Cathy Schane-Lydon has been teaching and performing since 1985. She endeavors to bring the joy of music making, whatever the style, to the student.
Cathy performs weekly as a church organist and choir director, performs with four ensembles; a classical trio called The Jovia, an a cappella group called Strike a Chord, a Celtic/Slavic band called As Yet Unnamed and a quirky comedy band called The Ladies Auxiliary Ukulele Orchestraas well as appearing as a guest musician with other local musicians and bands. She plays all sorts of styles of music, from Celtic to Classical to Rock to Jazz to Popular to Folk.
